I’m so excited to share this Franklin Park Conservatory engagement session with you today! I couldn’t begin to tell you how much I loved working with Kate and Koby. When I first facetimed with the two of them about their Wedding in March 2022, I learned about their sweet first date at Condados and I KNEW we would be a match! I loveee tacos. I was already dreaming about photographing another wedding at The Estate at New Albany and couldn’t be happier when we solidified working together!
Koby knows the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is one of Kate’s favorite days of the year! Her whole family gets together to make 20+ lbs of stuffing, drink wine, and spend the day together. The tradition has been alive for 20+ years and they call it “the stuffing chronicles”. Koby decided to propose on this day, and what better way than to put the ring IN THE STUFFING! As Kate began to mix the stuffing, she pulled out the bag and was very confused… until Koby unwrapped it and showed off the ring! The rest is history as the two begin to make many more traditions as a family.
When Kate told me she wanted to rent out The Franklin Park Conservatory for their Engagement Session, I was so excited! I love the Conservatory and have been dreaming of photographing one of my Brides there. It was a dream come true! Kate’s laugh was contagious the entire session, and I loved getting to know them better. She even braved the 20 degree weather to get some amazing outdoor shots in her dress– Such a trooper! I am so excited to meet back up with these two in March for their wedding at The Estate at New Albany with some of my favorite vendors.
I love every bit of this! Congratulations Kate & Koby!
